Rocio Fritz-Kelley joined Park in August 2020 as a Middle School Spanish teacher. Prior to this, she taught students of all ages for the past 15 years in Santiago, Chile. Her most recent position was a Grade 2 teacher at the British Royal School, which she held for 5 years. Her passion for teaching comes from growing up in a family of teachers, which included her father, aunts, and grandparents. Rocio continued learning about education by earning three Masters Degrees, two with concentrations in Education Management, and another in Reading and Writing. She also obtained teaching certifications in the Singapore Method, the Anti-Bullying Program, and in Special Needs Education. She credits her Masters and certifications in helping her create an environment to help students perform at a higher level, not only academically but socially and emotionally as well. When Sra. Kelley takes time away from educating, she loves to travel the world and experience different cultures. She’s been to five continents and many countries which include: Argentina, Bosnia Herzegovina, Brazil, Canada, China, Colombia, Croatia, Cuba, Ecuador, England, France, Italy, Montenegro, Netherlands, Peru, Uruguay, The United States, and Venezuela. She is looking forward to sharing her experiences with her students, coworkers and becoming a permanent member of the community. |
