A California transplant to Buffalo, Jennie excitedly joins Park in 2023 as a creative and dedicated educator with a strong passion for guiding young minds. Jennie is a proud graduate of UC Berkeley where she earned her Bachelor’s in English Literature. She went on to pursue her Masters in English Education from Syracuse University where she graduated with her certification in English 7-12. Jennie has an unwavering commitment to fostering a love for learning through community and self expression. For the past ten years, Jennie has called Buffalo her home, fully immersing herself in the rich cultural tapestry and tight-knit community. Her deep understanding of the local dynamics inspires her to create meaningful connections with students and their families, creating a warm, welcoming, and supportive classroom environment. Jennie's teaching approach is built on the pillars of creativity, engagement, and inclusivity. She believes that every student is unique, with their own strengths and learning styles. By tailoring her lessons to cater to these individual needs, Jennie ensures that every student can thrive academically and personally. Beyond academics, Jennie is committed to instilling important life skills in her students. She fosters a sense of teamwork, empathy, and critical thinking through interactive projects, discussions, and hands-on experiences. Her dynamic teaching methods not only help students excel in their studies but also prepare them to become well-rounded, confident individuals. Jennie is eager to have her son, Landon join Park this year in Pre-k, followed in a couple years by his brother Milo.
