Kyle Polaske joined Park School in 2001 to teach Art. Her interest in Art began when she was five years old, drawing the cartoons that she found in the newspaper. From there, she grew to learn that she could take her own ideas and create something interesting. She also comes from a family of craftsmen, and lived in a home that creating and building was something that surrounded her on a daily basis. Presently, she designs and creates her own art, to enjoy and sell, in her free time. Kyle went to Buffalo State College. She enjoyed every aspect of Art that she learned, experienced and was challenged with. She became an Art teacher, knowing that it was an opportunity to share her knowledge and artistic experiences with children. She enjoys working with kids from Kindergarten, through the twelfth grade, and seeing the moments that they discover something new. She gets to be creative, she gets make something every day, and learn new things along the way. Kyle enjoys her role as an Art teacher, a Drama teacher, an advisor, and a Park parent. She enjoys that every day is a new opportunity. |
