Emily Hannel joined the Park School community as our Grade1 teacher in August 2021. She completed her master’s degree at Buffalo State College, majoring in Early Childhood and Childhood Education with a focus on Literacy. She has been a private teacher since 2019 where she developed engaging and individualized lesson plans for grades K-6. Emily founded a private teaching business during COVID-19, bringing quality education into families’ homes. Emily was a top 5 finalist for the Buffalo State Chancellor’s Award for Student Excellence and the President’s Medal for Outstanding Student Achievement. Emily is TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) certified, trained in Remote Teaching, and a certified educator on several remote platforms. |
