SPIRIT TEAMS
When students enter Middle School (Grade 5), they are sorted into either the Orange or Brown Park Spirit Team that also include faculty and staff members. Once a person receives a team color, they remain on that team for life! Alumni from years past still like to cheer on "team orange" or "team brown" throughout each school year. The sorting takes place on Bonding Day, which takes place in the fall of each new school year. Teams go head-to-head in a friendly competition by playing games, puzzles, trivia, relay races, and more. The teams then play during the remainder of the school year for "Spirit Points" they may earn through academic excellence, Pioneer of the Month awards, demonstrating our core values, and more. Which team will win the Park Spirit Cup at the end of the year?!
