Krista’s love for Montessori education began during her student teaching experience at Bennett Park Montessori in Buffalo. From the very beginning, she was drawn to the Montessori philosophy, the hands-on materials, and especially the collaborative co-teaching environment. After earning her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, she enrolled in the Buffalo Montessori Education program. After that, she successfully opened a Montessori program for children ages 3–6 in Youngstown before becoming a Director at Casa de Bambini Montessori School in East Amherst. From there, she moved to Curious Minds Montessori in Clarence, and eventually transitioned to the Montessori program at St. Mary’s of Swormville before starting at Park in the fall of 2026. Moments from Krista’s 20+ years of Montessori experience continue to inspire her passion for Montessori education every day. What she loves most about Montessori education is giving children the opportunity to try new things, and watching them successfully complete a challenging piece of work and discover a new interest. |
