Meredith DiMaria has been an educator since 2012, working with students from diverse backgrounds and supporting a wide range of academic and social-emotional needs. She is committed to creating engaging, student-centered learning environments grounded in equity, interdisciplinary education, and social justice. After earning her bachelor's degree from Fredonia University, Meredith began her teaching career in New York City before returning to Western New York, where she joined Buffalo Public Schools. She later earned her master's degree from the University at Buffalo and has continued to grow as an educator through professional development at the University of Illinois and the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Meredith enjoys designing meaningful learning experiences that connect history, literature, culture, and critical thinking. Outside of the classroom, Meredith can be found perusing antique shops for hidden treasures, attending concerts, listening to old records, and spending time with her husband Frank and their two awesome kids, Francis and Josie. |
