Sarah Chamberlin received her Bachelor’s Degree in Studio Art from the University at Buffalo in 2020. She completed Buffalo State University’s Art Education Post-Baccalaureate Program and received her New York State PreK-Grade 12 Art Education Initial Certification in the spring of 2024. Sarah has taught in various schools and programs across Western New York, including St. Mary’s School for the Deaf and Sweet Home Central Schools. She ran a book-making program for early high school students at Buffalo Arts Studio and has been the head Lower Camp Arts & Crafts counselor at the Park School Summer Day Camp since 2021. Sarah values student choice and class collaboration. She strives to make her art classes a welcoming place where students can feel empowered to create art that has meaning to them and their community. Art has helped Sarah grow, heal, and reflect on the world around her, and she hopes that art can do the same for all of her students. |
