Jen Crickenberger joined Park in 2023 as the Middle School Learning Support Specialist. Her collaborative relationships with teachers and students promote positive change based on data-driven goals. Jennifer strives to keep students’ individual strengths, interests and needs at the heart of decisions. Jen has 16 years of experience teaching across K-8. Hong Kong became her family's home for six years while she taught and then served as the Curriculum and Instructional Coach at The Harbour School. While in Hong Kong, Jen had the privilege of being an active participant in a three-year study with Harvard University’s Project Zero & Catalyst Education Lab titled Envisioning Innovation in Education as she explored what effective coaching can look like in an innovative school. Prior to her time abroad, she taught kindergarten through second grade at two Title One Schools in South Carolina for ten years. Jen’s undergraduate degree from Winthrop University was in Early Childhood Education. She earned her master’s degree from Southern Wesleyan University in Education with an endorsement in Gifted and Talented Education. |
