Jen Crickenberger joined Park in 2023 and happily serves as the third grade teacher. Jen keeps students' individual strengths, interests and needs at the heart of decision-making. Jen has 17 years of experience teaching across K-8. Hong Kong became her family's home for six years while she taught and then served as the Curriculum and Instructional Coach at The Harbour School. While in Hong Kong, Jen had the privilege of being an active participant in a three-year study with Harvard University’s Project Zero & Catalyst Education Lab titled Envisioning Innovation in Education as she explored what effective coaching can look like in an innovative school. Prior to her time abroad, she taught kindergarten through second grade at two Title One Schools in South Carolina for ten years. Jen’s undergraduate degree from Winthrop University was in Early Childhood Education and is certified in NYS. She earned her master’s degree from Southern Wesleyan University in Education with an endorsement in Gifted and Talented Education. |
