Jeff is a New York State-certified teacher who joins The Park School in 2023 after a career hiatus operating a successful hospitality business. A graduate of SUNY Geneseo and Buffalo State College with a master's degree in social studies education, Jeff is excited to return to the work he is so passionate about: helping young people think critically about the world around them. He does so by treating English and history not as subjects to be studied, but as disciplines to be practiced. In his classroom, Jeff focuses on creating an encouraging and challenging environment that celebrates and accommodates diverse learning styles and prioritizes respect—for one’s self and for one another. Outside of Park, you might find Jeff spending time with his wife and toddler, dusting off old records to listen to, or re-reading his well-worn copy of Haruki Murakami’s Kafka on the Shore. |
