Amy Wiese began her tenure as Prekindergarten teacher at the Park School of Buffalo in 2002. Prior to coming to Park, she taught 5th grade at Our Lady Help of Christians School in Cheektowaga, New York. Amy holds a Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education from the University at Buffalo and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education from Canisius College. Her most recent professional development endeavor includes extensive Responsive Classroom training which she is currently implementing into her daily classroom activities. She is also passionate about creating a developmentally appropriate and experiential learning environment for the young children she works with in the Bungalow. She believes that the most authentic form of learning is through hands-on experiences, therefore she is driven to create a learning environment that makes this possible. In addition to being Park Faculty, Amy is also a current Park parent of two children, Madeline ‘23 and Evan ‘25.
