Jessica Reasinger came to Park in August 2022 as the new Grade 4 teacher after an extensive teaching career at the upper elementary and middle school levels in Massachusetts and New York. Jessica earned her undergraduate degree in Elementary and Special Education through Boston University and has a masters degree in Educational Leadership from Cambridge College. Throughout her teaching career, Jessica has implemented inquiry-based, student-centered instruction, focused on educating the whole child. Jessica believes fostering deep, empathetic thinking and an authentic love of learning are at the center of readying students to be leaders in their own communities. Jessica feels strongly that academic learning is only possible in conjunction with strong social-emotional learning and strives to create an environment where students are able to question and explore the world around them, while also learning to be the best version of themselves. When she is not teaching, Jessica enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, and rambunctious corgi. She is so excited that her son, Miles, also joins Park this year in PreK. |
