Maria Jacobi joined the Performing Arts faculty at The Park School in August 2022. She most recently led educational theater programs at the Tarrytown Music Hall for grades 2 through 12 and had the pleasure of working on several pilot productions with Disney Theatrics. Memorable productions include LES MISERABLES, INTO THE WOODS and THE LION KING. Maria has also enjoyed leading choir programs, general music classes, and has maintained a thriving private voice studio. As a vocalist she made her Lincoln Center debut in Mahler's 2nd Symphony with the London Symphony Orchestra under maestro Valery Gergiev, she also has performed at Carnegie Hall and Symphony Space with New York Lyric Opera. Maria holds a Bachelor of Music in Voice and Theater with a Dance minor from Ithaca College, and her Kripalu Yoga Certification from The Kripalu School of Yoga and Health. Maria's mission in teaching is to inspire students to let go of inhibition, take risks, and find joy in being themselves!
