Einav Symons is one of Park's Judaic Studies teachers. She began her work at the School in Fall of 2021. She has a B.A in Education and Religious studies. She is also a certified NYS and Day school teacher. Mrs. Symons holds M. Ed in Jewish Education and a Principal of Day School License. She is the recipient of the 2011 Grinspoon Award for Excellence in Jewish Education and Buffalo's Business First 2013 Who's Who in Education. Since coming to Buffalo from Toronto in 2000, she was the Head of Kadimah Academy and the Director of Education at the Gesher Religious School. Her consulting company provided programs and training to students and teachers in the Williamsville, Amherst, and the Niagara Falls school districts. She enjoys working with her clients in Canada and the US on programming, staff development, outreach, fundraising and strategic planning. She is married to Dr. Andrew Symons and is proud of her children, Gilad (19) and Shira (18). Mrs. Symons sees her roles in education for over 30 years as a calling and is excited to be a part of The Park School. She is an animal lover and enjoys taking care of the ‘Symons’ Zoo’ which includes cats, dogs, rabbit, bird, fishpond, and ducks. |
