Julianne Lewis came to Park in August 2021 in the role of Director of College, Career, and Life Counseling. She has a diverse background in the field of counseling. She has a Master's Degree in School and Mental Health Counseling from Canisius College, a Graduate Certificate in Sociology from Bay Path College, and completed the Trauma Informed Care and Counseling Certification from the University at Buffalo. She has extensive experience in college and career counseling. She has worked at the college level as an Academic and Career Services Advisor, and most recently, worked at the k-12 level as a School and Career Counselor. She is also an adjunct instructor at two local colleges teaching counseling and career development. Her passion is to assist students in finding the right college and career path to set them on the right track to achieve their dreams. Mrs. Lewis was also awarded New York State School Counselor of the Year in 2023 by the New York State School Counselor Association and was awarded American School Counselor Association New York State School Counselor of the Year for 2024! |
