This is Emeka
Emeka ‘22 doesn’t hang his hat on any one talent. As the seasons change, so does his athletic pursuits. He plays soccer in the fall, basketball in the winter, and runs track in the spring. A focus that never changes and is agreed upon by coaches and educators alike is that Emeka is a natural leader on the pitch, court, track, and classroom. No matter where he finds himself on campus, he is highly respected by his peers who seek him out for guidance and advice. Emeka places the team before individual accomplishments and is always looking to elevate others.
Determined to be more focused than ever this year, he finds the hard work paying off all around him. He is in the midst of a very successful year academically and is currently participating in a journal writing project in English and making a cell model which uses the room as the cell wall. Science being his favorite subject, Emeka will be contributing a large mitochondria to the class project!
If the name looks familiar, the Buffalo News has covered his artistic abilities throughout the years! He designs art on sneakers in the wider community and is currently working on an independent art study that finds him designing and executing a mural on the exterior walls of Kimball Hall. Emeka has a true passion for Art and loves sharing it with his community!
